LONG CO., GA (WTOC) -

One of the two men that were part of the militia group FEAR has reached a plea agreement and will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Sgt. Anthony Peden and Pvt. Christopher Salmon are charged with the murders of Michael Roark and Tiffany York. Investigators say they killed the couple to protect the organization.

Pvt. Christopher Salmon pleaded guilty to the murder of Roark Thursday morning in a Long County courtroom.

The prosecution said they would seek the death penalty in this case before the plea agreement was reached.

The leader of FEAR, Pvt. Isaac Aguigui, pleaded guilty to the murder charges and is already serving a life sentence for the murders.

Peden is also expected in court Thursday morning following Salmon.
