Lily Pad gets 25K donation

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Lily Pad got a generous donation of $25,000 from 1st Franklin Financial on Wednesday.

The lily pad is a non-profit organization that works with victims of child abuse and sexual assault crimes.

Last year, they served 125 adults and more than 4-hundred children.

"Donations are very important to us to give to capital to provide the services that we provide. It allows us to keep our employees working and keep our doors open which are open 24/7," says Lily Pad Board Chairman Jason Dunn.

The lily pad serves 32-counties and works with more than 50 law enforcement agencies.
