Viewpoint: Lady Rams Success

Congratulations to the Albany State women's basketball team for a tremendous season.

The Lady Rams won 22 games and earned their first bid to the N-C-Double A Division 2 Tournament the first time in 16 years.

The team proved they deserved that bid by beating one of the top teams in the nation …. Delta State.

Leading this team is tireless head coach Robert Skinner, who also coaches the school's softball and volleyball teams.

We commend Coach Skinner for his dedication to the ASU athletics program, and we wish all the teams success in the future.
