SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

Sylvester Police are looking for a mysterious bicyclist to question about a burglary.

The owner of Pizza Quick on West Franklin found a side glass window shattered and hundreds of dollars missing when he arrived to work Saturday morning.

Police said later that day he saw someone on a bike hiding near the building.

"He made contact with a suspicious person who [he] thought could have been involved in this one way or another, said Sylvester Police Detective Kenneth Washington. "There is no eyewitness to that fact. He also gave a foot chase behind the subject but was never able to catch up with him."

Police did recover the bike the man was on.

They don't know if he's connected to the burglary but they are looking for him to ask him some questions.
