ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

People who test drove a car at the Sunbelt Ford Dealership donated to a good cause.

It's all part of the "Drive 4 UR community" event. The dealership donated $20 for every person who test drove a car. All the funds raised will go toward scholarships for young people, awarded by members of the Albany Chapter of Links Incorporated.

"It gives Ford the opportunity to kind of do some marketing, but also help out people in the community raise some needy funds, "Michael Ervin.

"There are young people who are out there at this time who are needing or looking for funds to take care of their supplies, books or what have you. This money will help them further their cause for an education," said Dr. Carolyn Hand.

Links Inc. recently celebrated their 30th anniversary.
