ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Eight Dougherty County men and women are indicted for a gang kidnapping in December that uncovered stolen guns and a burglary ring.

Prosecutors say Bloods gang members Aaron Barnes, Demontra Gresham, Dominik Scott,  and Dontavious Scott kidnapped two Westside Rattlers gang members.

One got away and called Police who stopped the kidnappers' car.  Investigators found stolen guns inside.

"These weapons found in the possession of the defendants were the result of thefts here in Dougherty County," said  Dougherty D. A.  Greg Edwards.   "And we anticipate there will be further indictments regarding the actual burglaries."

The four others named in the indictment are charged with receiving the stolen guns or trying to hide them from police.
