Radium Baptist Church makes repairs following break-in

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Radium Spring Baptist Church is making repairs and planning security upgrades after a weekend break-in.

The church is replacing broken windows and considering installing surveillance cameras. The burglars didn't get away with anything and church leaders say they'll be happy to offer the criminals what they really need.

"It's a sad things that's happened. People are breaking in churches now?" music minister Daniel Tinney asked. "You know it's a shame. I hope they find something that they were looking for and I believe that is Jesus. So I hope they will come back, they don't have to break a window on Sunday, just come on in."

Dougherty County Police are investigating the burglary.
