ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany church is working to help out a woman who needs a kidney transplant meet a goal for the surgery.

36 year-old Spaneasha Lee needs the kidney, but does not have the funds necessary to get it. So, the International Free and Accepted Modern Masons and Order of the Eastern Star is organizing a car wash to help out the mother of three.

They plan to host the car wash on Saturday April 5th at the Auto Zone in East Albany from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The cost is $6 per car and $10 per truck.

The group is working to raise $2,500 needed for the surgery.
