ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany carwash says pollen season has been keeping them busy.

Workers at Goo-Goo Express Carwash on Dawson Road said they washed 600 cars Friday thanks to the pollen. They say leaving pollen on your car for too long won't hurt it but could be hazardous to those who have allergies.    

"It's not going to harm the paint job like I said, but it will you know become a problem when you've got allergies and stuff. I have allergies so you know you get in the car and gotta touch the handle or pump gas," said Romie Jenkins.  

Jenkins recommends to avoid those allergic reactions that it's best to get your car washed as often as possible.
