Albany Police suspect gang activity is involved in several shootings.At least two people have been shot, and three homes targeted in the last two days.

Neighbors are shocked this happened on their quiet street. A home on Cochran Avenue was hit with a Molotov cocktail and bullets.

 Martha Huewitt said she heard at least three gunshots around 11:00 Monday night, then heard something hit the window-- and saw flames. 

Huewitt said a Molotov cocktail made out of a liquor bottle burned her porch roof and the siding over her front window. 

One of the window shutters had a bullet hole.   "All I know is I heard a 'pow pow.'  And Miss Louise, my neighbor across thestreet.  We had never heard anything likethat go on on this street here. This is the first time, you see," said Linda Thompson.

 Huewitt just moved into the home last month, but said she ismoving again. 

AlbanyPolice say a house on South Madison was hit by at least four bullets earlyTuesday morning.  A man was shot Sundayduring a fight at a club on Flint Avenue, and another man shot outside his homeSunday on South Jackson. 

Police are urgingpeople to report any suspicious activity.
