ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany man is working hard to raise money for his mom's double lung transplant.

Tonight at Albany's State Theatre downtown, eight bands played in a benefit concert to help Marcy Horne-Delaney with Medical costs.

She says you have to have financial proof you can pay for all the costs associated with a transplant to stay on the list.

The proceeds from Saturday's event will help her pay for transportation to Atlanta, and other medical needs.

"It makes my heart glow knowing that my sons and his friends care that much about me. I'm so proud of my son," says Marcy Horne-Delaney.

She says she's been on the transplant list for about four years.
