Exchange Club named Good Deeds winner

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Exchange club handed out its Good Deeds award tonight.

The honor was given to Art Shoemaker. Shoemaker is the Director of Love thy Neighbor outreach center and works for the Society of Saint Andrew. He says he's honored to receive the award.

"It means a great deal, I don't do it for recognition," Shoemaker said. "I just do it because I want to do it. It's a great honor as far as I am concerned."

The Exchange Club gives out the award annually.
