    APD reports that officers got a tip that a wanted person was “hiding out” at 708 North Jackson Street. Offices went to that location and confirmed the suspect was there. They said they found Wanda Harris hiding under a bed and arrested her, then notified DCP.More >>

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The SouthwestPublic Health District and Albany State Student Health Services will offer freeHIV testing Saturday, March 22.

The 'Naturally Tested' event is part of National Women and GirlsHIV and AIDS Awareness Day.

There will be shopping, zumba, and aNatural Hair Battle Contest with cash prizes.

"We project todo 100 HIV confidential testing. Which means participates who get tested willget their results back the same day. The main goal of this event is to raiseHIV awareness amongst college age woman," said Tonya High.

The event is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the ASU Hyper Gym. It's freeand open to the public.
