Thomasville road blocks net 30 arrests

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Thomasville authorities say road blocks set up last Friday resulted in more than 30 arrests.

Drivers were charged with a variety of offenses, including drug possession, driving without a licence, driving with a suspended license, and driving under the influence.

The project utilized about 80 law enforcement officers.

Officers from agencies throughout the region say they work together in a different county one night of each month to conduct road blocks and concentrated patrols.
