More than one hundred Berrien County special needs students rode into Nashville Thursday for a rodeo.
This is the 21st year the rodeo has been held. Kids with special needs were partnered with high school FFA students who helped them participate in various rodeo events.
"They partner up with them and they take 'em through the event every year, said event coordinator Prissy Massingill. "And some of our events, they're rodeo props. We have a bull riding prop, a barrel racing prop, and team roping prop. Their partner takes 'em through these props like they're at the actual rodeo."
Nashville will host the Cotton Blossom Pro Rodeo Friday and Saturday night. You can buy tickets at Harveys Supermarkets and the Berrien County Chamber of Commerce.
