AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

$400 million is up for grabs in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing. People are buying tickets, hoping to become rich.

Joshua Ursy bought two tickets to increase his chances of winning.

"My first time playing Mega Millions. See if I can't hit the jackpot so I can retire," said Ursy.

Store clerk Diane Wright hasn't seen a rush of people buying tickets but expects more to come in at the last minute.

"Who wouldn't be excited about $400 million?  Girl!  What would anybody do with $400 million? This little small town, Yes, It'll bring it out," said Wright.

Experienced Georgia lottery player, Charlie Majors previously won $2 million. He's not too sure about his chances tonight.

"Probably poor, cause I don't ever play this one," said Majors.

Wright also bought a ticket and has already made plans for her millions.

"Girl, I got three kids and I would love to sit them all down and myself too!" she said.

Ursy say he's feeling lucky and hopes he has the winning numbers.  "Gabrielle Ursy, I love you baby hopefully I'll win it and Daddy will take care of you and send you to college. You won't have anything to worry about," said Joshua.

If no one wins, the jackpot rolls over to Friday's drawing for a prize of an estimated $500 million.

The 400 million potential jackpot is the sixth largest lottery prize in U.S history.
