The search for Dougherty County school superintendent is now down to two people.
Interim superintendent Dr. David Mosley and current Colquitt County superintendent Dr. Samuel DePaul are the finalists.
Dougherty County school board members made the announcement today after going over 24 applications for a month.
"Over the next two weeks we will be meeting with the two finalists to make negotiations, salary, benefits, and so forth. We've made a lot of progress since we started this process back in November," said school board member, Dr. Lane Price.
Board members will vote make a final decision in about two weeks.
Interim Superintendent David Mosely took over in January of last year after former superintendent Dr. Joshua Murfree was released from his contract in a mutual agreement with the board.
