A college party at Chehaw Park ends in gunfire leaving two people injured.

Park officials say ASU students threw a party at the Creekside Education Center, but it ended when argument in the parking lot resulted in two people getting shot. Police say Tevin Henry and Shontavious Armstrong were shot in the leg after the gunman asked the two for a cigarette and they replied they didn't have one. Henry was shot in the left leg and Armstrong was shot in the right leg. Park officials say this is an isolated incident.

"It's part of what we've got here going on in Albany, and it just was our turn for it to happen here. The group of people that were here were doing great, so it wasn't from the event. It was just an isolated incident," said Don Meeks.

Henry is in good condition and Armstrong is in serious condition at Phoebe Putney Hospital. The exit gate to the park was also damaged after a car rammed into it leaving the party. It will cost about $1000 to fix. No arrests have been made. The shooting remains under investigation.

Park officials say this happend during an after-hours private rental. Staff and the Albany Police Dept. were already on the scene providing security detail and were able to assist.
