THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

This little pup is going home to a new family thanks to the Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society's Adopt-A-Thon. During the 2-day event the adoption fee for any dog or cat is only $25.      All the animals are already spayed and neutered. 10 animals got new homes today. The Executive Director says his facility is seeing an influx of animals.

"Trying to get them all homes, forever homes, and get them out of the shelters so we can make room for the ones that are coming in next," said Ed Williams.

The Adopt-A-Thon continues Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm.  If you rent your home you must provide documentation from your landlord saying you can have a pet. You can also go online to view their animals by clicking here.
