Bread House Bakery workers make St. Patrick's Day treats

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

If you're looking for some tasty treats for St. Patrick's Day weekend, you might want to visit Albany's Bread House Bakery.

They have lots of baked goodies for St. Patrick's Day, including shamrock cookies. Part of the proceeds benefit the Graceway Recovery program for Women.

Bakers say the shamrock has special meaning for the women in the program.

"The legend is that St. Patrick used the shamrock, very similar to this one here, a three leaf, not a four leaf to explain the trinity of the father, son, and holy spirit," says Megan Davis, with the Bread House Bakery.

Graceway is a long-term, faith-based, substance abuse treatment program.
