VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Shoppers in Valdosta have a new place to hunt for bargains on clothes. Plato's Closet held its grand opening Thursday morning.

The store buys and sells gently-used clothing and focuses on young customers.

The manager expects the store to be popular.

"I think it's going to do amazing I think we're going to just take off and do a lot better than we expected. We knew Valdosta, being a big college town, looking to teen young adult clothing like we do, we knew this would be a great place," said Manager Mat Shipman.

There are nearly 400 Plato's Closets locations around the country, including 20 in Georgia.
