Students getting ready to learn about making good choices

CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

A woman who performed in an emotionally charged skit is helping Crisp County deputies teach some important lessons.

She was part of a realistic event Wednesday night showing parents what could happen if their children drink and drive.

Parents got a preview of what their kids will see during a teen maze over the next couple of days to show students the importance of making good choices.

"What we tell our students is inside the teen maze they don't have choices, but in real life they do have choices, so make those choices count," said Lisa Simpson, School social worker.

Students will go through that maze Thursday and Friday at Crisp County High School.
