SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

Not a lot of people are voting early in a special election in Worth County.

Matt Medders, Dan Miller, and Ken Hall are running in the District 2 County Commission race to serve the remainder of the term of Mack Sutton who resigned for health reasons. The district has 2860 registered voters, but only 73 have voted so far. Early voting ends Friday.

"My quote has always been, freedom, be proud of it and vote. I encourage all of our voters in Commissioner District 2 to get out and vote please," said Virginia Andrews.

The special election will be held on Tuesday. Voters in the Sylvester precinct need to remember their polling place has been moved from the old high school to the new Board of Education building on Eldridge Street.
