LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

Kim And Wes Terrell run a dog kennel on their property in Brittany Plantation in Lee County.

Some neighbors say the property is not zoned for a kennel, and they want it shut down.  The Terrells disagree.

County commissioners told them to remove the dogs, so the Terrells filed a lawsuit.

"And at the that point then there will some preliminary stuff done, but there will be a hearing before the court to decide whether we're right, that is should be agriculture or whether the county is right and its already been changed to R1," said W. T. Gamble the Attorney for the Terrells.

The Terrells are allowed to run their kennel and keep their dogs until the judge makes a decision on the case.
