ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Art lovers got a new experience at the Art Park today.

City officials held their first Albany Street Art Experience. People got to learn about the history of graffiti and other street art. They helped paint a mural paint and could purchase artwork for area artists. Art instructors say street art is a team effort.

"We'll if you've got a picture that you're trying to put together then you know it takes teamwork to make it come together right," said Cameron Malphrus.

Artists can set up for free at the Art Park every second Saturday of the month.
