ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Darton State College's Office of Military and Adult Education is hosting an Adult Learner Open House on Tuesday, March 18. The event will be held on campus from 4 – 6 p.m. in the J-Building.

The open house is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in going to college to explore Darton's many degree program options and get one-on-one assistance.

Representatives from admissions, career/student services, online learning, military and adult education, and financial aid will be available to answer any questions. In addition, the $20 application fee will be waived.

The open house is being held in conjunction with College Goal Georgia, which will take place at Darton State College on Tuesday, March 25. During the College Goal Georgia event, financial aid representatives will be available to assist college-bound students in completing and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Filling out the FAFSA is the first critical step in applying for federal and state grants, loans, and scholarships to help pay for college.

For more information regarding the Adult Learner Open House or College Goal Georgia, visit

www.darton.edu, email adult.ed@darton.edu , or call Stefane Raulerson, director of military and adult education, at (229) 317-6538.
