Candle Vigil for Shakelia Williams

Sunday family and friends of 31-year-old Shakelia Williams gathered for a candle light vigil.

More than a dozen people showed up to show their support at Westwind Apartments on Dawson Rd.

Williams was shot and killed last Thursday. Her body was discovered in a courtyard of the complex. Her friends who called her  "Kee-Kee" say she was a good person.

"She was always lending a helping hand to anyone who needed help. She didn't get out here and hurt anybody. I've known her for ten years and I have not heard one thing bad about her," says best friend Terra Rogers.

Two people Emory Jones and Dorian Revills have been charged with Murder and Armed Robbery in connection with the shooting.
