ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Kids had a chance to learn more about different types of aquatic animals at the Flint Riverquarium today.

It's called the "Blue Hole Blast" and it's all part of the Riverquarium's Discovery Days event. Young people also played tic- tac- toe with the divers. Workers say this is a great educational event for the kids.

"The main thing is education. I mean they do play games, they do play some crafts as well but it's mainly education that we try to educate them on.  We try to make it fun and if it is fun it sticks in your brain better," said Ben Scott.

Discovery Days is held the every first and third Sunday of the month.
