Kids in Tift County get an up close and personal lesson in agriculture.

Third graders from all over Tift County participated in farm day, which included a lot of hands-on demonstrations.

They learned about livestock, wildlife, forestry and healthy eating.

"The AG industry in Tift County is huge. It's a vital part of our economy. It's important for all our third graders to get out here and learn all they types of way that AG affects our community, said Craig Matthews.

This is the 10th year for Tift County's Farm Day.
