TIFT CO., GA (WALB) -

It's been almost a year since a pregnant Tift County woman vanished without a trace. Investigators put out a new call for tips to solve the mystery.

Tift County Sheriff's investigators still hope to solve the disappearance of Crystal Hendrix.

The Tift County Sheriff Office is still hoping Crystal Hendrix and the baby she was carrying are alive, but after a year, it's getting harder to find her.

Crystal Hendrix disappeared without a trace last March 8th. The Tift County Sheriff says the trail is going cold.

"Somebody knows something. And we want to keep this thing alive and try to generate some interest in it," said Gene Scarbrough, Tift County Sheriff.

Hendrix was 8-months pregnant when she went missing after a doctor's appointment in Tifton.

"All of a sudden she and the baby just drop off the face of the earth and it's debilitating to think about what happened to them," said Scarbrough.

In May 2013, investigators brought in a search team, looking for clues near her home in Omega. Sheriff Scarbrough says they are always looking for more information to lead them to Hendrix.

"Is she alive, I doubt it or the baby, but we keep up the hope and hopefully one day they'll surface one way or the other," said Scarbrough.

Hendrix's mother, Diane Wiler, didn't find out her daughter was missing until May. She filed a missing person's report. She wants closure.

"I can't mourn. I can't grieve because it's the not knowing that's bothering me," said Diane Wiler.

Wiler says she's being strong for the two kids Hendrix left behind. A year has passed and her mother still doesn't believe it's real.

"If I do a memorial service, It's like giving up and I can't until I know for a fact there's something to give up," said Diane Wiler.

There are no leads to Crystal Hendrix whereabouts, and the investigation is still open. If someone has seen Hendrix, her mother wants their help.

"Even if just a momentary glimpse, please contact the Sheriff's dept," said Wiler.

There is a $1,600 reward for information that helps investigators solve the case.
