Autopsy results pending, one in custody in apartment shooting case

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police say they are awaiting autopsy results in the case of a deadly shooting at Westwind Apartments. They have also taken a person of interest into custody.

18-year-old Dorion Tyree Revills also known as "Tye," was taken into custody by officers Friday.

Officers said Shakelia Williams, 31, was shot in the W building of Westwind Apartments on Dawson Road around 4 p.m. Thursday. Her body was found in a courtyard of the complex.

Investigators have been questioning residents and searching the area for answers.
