A teenager wanted for a 2013 murder has been arrested in Georgia.
Clifton Dreher is accused of a deadly shooting that occurred on Tremain Street in April of 2013. 23-year-old Quamain Lewis was killed. After the shooting, friends drove Lewis to the hospital, where he died.
CPD investigators believe the shooting was gang related and was sparked by an argument between Dreher and Lewis, who were rival gang members.
Dreher was 17 years old at the time of the murder. He was wanted on murder and weapons charges.
Acting on a Crimestoppers tip, a fugitive task force with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Dreher Sunday in College Park, GA.
Dreher was extradited to Columbia Thursday to face murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime charges.
