BAXLEY, GA (WTOC) -

WTOC's Dal Cannady is walking this week to raise money and awareness for the local chapters of the American Red Cross.

The second day of the route started in Hazlehurst and ended in Baxley. Dal stopped at Sarah's in the City and got some fund-raising tips from a real pro.

Owner Sarah Boatright rallied her lunch customers to help support red cross and they came through. so many in the community stepped up when they found out the money raised goes to help local disaster team volunteers assist families after fires and other problems. Boatright and her daughter were brought of their customers and community.
