    It's already back to school time for some south Georgia students. Alwyn Perryman, 66, won $100,000 playing the instant game50X The Money. Perryman purchased his lucky ticket at Lil Pantry #8, 1415N. Tift Ave. in Tifton. 

"I just went in to buy a Mega Millions ticket, and I boughta couple of instant tickets," he explained. "I scratched it in the store. Icouldn't believe it." 

A farm equipment machinist, Perryman plans to retire nextyear. He and his wife, Gail, have two adult children. 

The Georgia Lottery instant game 50X The Money is loadedwith prizes of up to $1 million. 

Since its first year, the GeorgiaLottery Corp. has returned more than $15 billion to the state of Georgia foreducation. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educationalprograms, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-KProgram.

More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
