ATLANTA (CBS46) -

A cold front is easing through Atlanta and those cold northwest winds return overnight. The combination of the wind and temperatures will make it feel much colder by daybreak on Thursday.

Before you head off to bed you might want to dig out that heavier coat, as chilly weather hangs tough through Friday afternoon. Make sure your kids are dressed appropriately at the bus stops too, as the worst of the temperatures linger through 8 a.m.

Make sure to join Chief Meteorologist Markina Brown tonight on CBS 46 News for the very latest.
