THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

A Thomasville podiatrist charged with 2 counts of interference with child custody told police he had permission to have his children.

Adam Frasch remains behind bars in Bay county, Florida, his ex-wife Samira Frasch was found dead in the swimming pool of her home in Tallahassee on Saturday.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office then called Thomas County investigators asking for help to find the couple's two young daughters.

"We also informed Leon County officials that he had an additional address, in Panama city and he possibly was there, and they found him there, the main concern was the safety of the children and to make sure that they were okay," said Tim Watkins.

Samira Frasch had custody of the children. Investigators have not said if they have the results of an autopsy conducted on Monday. A sign on the doctor's office says it's closed due to a death in the family and a black ribbon is tied outside.
