SUMTER CO., GA (WALB) -

Two teenagers connected to a south Georgia gang are in custody after the Sumter County Sheriff's Office disrupted more than a dozen gun thefts.

Taris Devoe Hollowman, 19, and Omar Shaquille Barron, 18, were taken into custody.

Officials said they are responsible for the thefts of more than a dozen guns. Investigators said they relied on tips from the public to make the arrests.
