ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Arkansas man is sentenced to serve one year and a day in federal prison for calling in bomb threats to the Carmike Cinema Chain in 2012.

Dozens of Carmike facilities, including the Wynnsong 16 in Albany, were evacuated and searched by police following the threats called to Carmike Headquarters in Columbus.

The threat came less than a month 12-people were killed and 58 injured in a movie theater shooting in Colorado.
