VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is hosting an Open House of the Allied Health programs on the Valdosta Campus today. 

The community is invited to come out and tour the facilities and lab areas from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in Berrien Hall. 

By 2020 4.2 million health care related jobs will be created.  Wiregrass Georgia Tech is providing hands-on career training to meet the local employment demands.

The community is invited to come and meet the faculty and learn more about all the health care related programs offered at the college. 

Allied Health programs offered at the college include; Dental Hygiene, EMS Professions, Medical Assisting, Practical Nursing, Patient Care Assisting, Opticianry, Paramedicine, Pharmacy, Phlebotomy Technician, Radiologic Technology, and Surgical Technology.
