THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

A south Georgia doctor is in jail in Bay County, Florida as investigators look into the mysterious death of his ex-wife.

Thomasville podiatrist Adam Frasch is charged with two counts of interference with child custody.

His 2-year-old and 10-month-old daughters disappeared Saturday before their mother, 38-year-old Samira Frasch, was found dead in the swimming pool at the family's home in Tallahassee.

She had custody of the children. Investigators found them with Dr. Frasch at a home he owns in Panama City Saturday afternoon.

Leon County Sheriff's investigators are waiting for results of an autopsy conducted Monday to determine Samira Frasch's cause of death.
