ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Police are on the lookout for a man who attempted to rob Maryland Chicken on Slappey Blvd.

Albany Police are searching for a man they say walked up to the drive thru window with a gun, demanded money, and then ran off Saturday night.

Police describe the man as being a black male between 5'8 and 5'10. They say he was wearing a dark colored jacket with fur around the hood, khakis, and a red shirt.

If you have any information contact the Albany Police Department.

"He tried to come through the window, he had a gun, swinging the gun, and I ran instantly," says Ashlie Williams.

Nothing was taken, and no injuries were reported.
