ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Mothers, and their sons, got a chance to spend some quality time together during a special dance Saturday night.

It's the sixth year for the "ladies and little gents" mother-son Dance. Mothers and their sons dressed up and danced the night away at the Hasan Temple on Palmyra Road.

Part of the proceeds will go toward a good cause.

"Well its called the ladies and little gents. We want to teach our boys how to be little gentleman so this is what I want them to take from this event," says Coordinator Angela Brown.

Some of the proceeds will benefit the Dougherty County Sheriff's office Crime Prevention and Intervention Unit.
