BACONTON, GA (WALB) -

A south Georgia group is making sure high school students have proper prom dresses. More than 300 dresses that are ready for girls to pick out.

Operation Prom Southwest Georgia collected them and is giving them away. They have all sizes, styles and colors.

"I enjoy this because this is my hometown. I like to give back to my community and I just thought it would be a great idea to come home and give back to my high school alum  and all girls of southwest Georgia to be able to go to the prom," said Darrell Marcus.

The giveaway is tomorrow from 10 to 4 at J and J's Closet on 132 E. Lester Road in Baconton.

To request a free Prom dress or tuxedo, students must be complete an application online www.operationprom.org.

We currently have over 300 dresses that have been donated form Allure, Jovani & various other designers.
