Albany Tech swept in home finale

Georgia Highlands spoiled the Albany Tech sophomore appreciation party Wednesday night, sweeping the Titans and Lady Titans by a combined four points.

The men led the Chargers by ten at half, but GHC came out of the locker rooms with rejuvenated energy, rallying for a 73-71 win.

The loss drops Albany Tech to 9-20 overall, and 3-14 in GCAA play.

The Lady Titans trailed by six at half to the GCAA's second place Lady Chargers.

Quiondra Darrisaw led the ATC rally, scoring 20 points.

It wasn't enough though, as the Lady Chargers held off Albany Tech, 64-62.

The loss leaves the Lady Titans at .500, 14-14 overall, and 8-11 in conference play.

Both teams close out the regular season Saturday at Chattahoochee Tech.
