THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

A tip helped Thomas County drug agents to uncover drugs being grown in a camper.

After setting up surveillance in the area, investigators arrested Steven Johnson in the Sugar Mill RV Park on Mcmillan Road.

They seized 22 marijuana plants, each more than a foot tall from his camper.

"We gained information that he had some marijuana plants there before, so it shows that he has a history of growing marijuana plants there in the camper," said drug agent Kevin Lee.

Agents say Johnson was cooperative and didn't hesitate to hand over the plants. He is charged with manufacturing marijuana.
