DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

Information that leads to the recovery of a stolen backhoe, and the identity of the thieves who took it, could net a tipster some quick cash. The Alabama Agriculture and Rural Crime Unit is offering $1,000.

The backhoe, a John Deere 310-D, was stolen during the evening hours of January 20, 2014 from the area of East Main Street near the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan.

Authorities believe the backhoe was placed on a trailer and hauled away during the evening hours.
