MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - ANDY, WILL IT WORK? Perfect Pancake Pan = WISE BUY!

We 'batter' up and fire up a breakfast showdown with the Perfect Pancake Pan, $19.99.

There's no more 'perfect' co-tester than Bradford Williams, owner and cook of Curbside Casseroles in East Memphis. The 'take-and-bake' establishment has earned six perfect 100's on its health inspections, a record on Andy's Restaurant Scorecard.

After greasing the Perfect Pancake Pan with non-stick cooking oil, Williams poured a quarter-cup of pancake batter into each of the pan's four pancake molds. She set it on her stove, medium-heat, until the pancakes started bubbling. Then she closed the lid on the Perfect Pancake Pan -- and flipped it.

No spillage. Good sign!

After cooking on the flip-side for a minute or so, Williams took it off the stove -- and slid four perfect pancakes on to a plate.

"Ooh, they're pretty," she exclaimed.

Another claim of the Perfect Pancake Pan: cook perfect over-easy eggs, no broken yolks.

It did that, too.

The Perfect Pancake Pan is a WISE BUY!

With the Perfect Pancake Pan, keeping it slick is the trick. Make sure you spray plenty of non-stick cooking oil on it. The first time Williams tried it, she didn't spray enough, and the flapjacks stuck.

But once you use the right amount -- and nail down your cooking time -- it's time to grab the maple syrup!
