TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

The Georgia State Patrol has identified the driver of an SUV killed in a two car accident on Upper Ty Ty Road in Tift County Monday morning.

Troopers say 58-year old Stephen Hobbs died when his SUV collided with a pickup truck driven by Johnnie Hill of Tifton.

"The Ford truck attempted to turn left onto Ray Taylor Road and did not see the (Chevy) Blazer coming and they struck head on." said T.F.C. C.H. Parrish.

Troopers say charges are pending against Johnnie Hill.
