ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Sunday's weather was a perfect day for fishing.

South Georgians got to see the latest trends in boating during a boat show Sunday in the parking lot of Gander Mountain.

Dozens of boats were on display for people to get up close and look at.

Organizers say now that the nasty winter weather is over, people are looking forward to spring.

"We have been cooped up a little bit in this cold weather and now that the sun's out and we have the warmer weather out, people get out and get that cabin fever and they're ready to get out and get on the water and do something different," says organizer Scott Romero

The boat show  has been a tradition for more than 30 years.
