Congressman Jack Kingston took his Senate campaign to the rose city today.The Savannah Republican spoke at the Kiwanis club meeting about his views on putting America back to work.
He also addressed Congress's recent vote to increase the debt limit.
"I think we need to shred the credit card and we need to sit down in a very serious manner in Washington, get rid of the duplications, waste and make some of the tough decisions that we have to make," said Kingston.
Kingston stressed his support of deepening the harbor at the port of Savannah which he says will lead to a big boost for Georgia's economy. Kingston is running in a crowded Republican field in the race to replace Senator Saxby Chambliss.
